Julie Cope is a professional artist working predominantly in oil and acrylics. Her creative experience covers people, animals, still life, landscapes, illustration and trompe l’oeil installations for both private and corporate clients.

In addition to her career as a full time artist, Julie has held the position of Visual Arts Director for Knaresborough feva 2005 (Festival of Entertainment & Visual Arts) for the second year in succession. Julies involvement with feva has resulted in the active and enthusiastic participation of the local Knaresborough people and organisations in a variety of community arts-based projects. After the initial success of the feva 2004 ‘Optical Illusions’ trompe l’oeil project, Julie was successful in obtaining funding from the Arts Council of England to continue and extend the project into the feva 2005 programme.
