Julie Cope is a professional artist working predominantly in oil and acrylics. Her creative experience covers human, animal, still life, landscapes, illustration, trompe l’oeil and mosaic installations for public, private and corporate clients.

In addition to her career as a full time artist, Julie held the position of Visual Arts Director for Knaresborough feva (Festival of Entertainment & Visual Arts) from 2004 to 2008. Julies involvement with feva has resulted in the active and enthusiastic participation of the local Knaresborough people and organisations in a variety of community arts-based projects. Julie has successfully developed the 'Optical Illusions' trompe l'oeil project during her 4 years with feva, and this has now developed into the Knaresborough Town Windows project through the Renaissance Market Town initiatives. Julie recently completed two mosaic community art projects in Overton, Hampshire and Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.
